Aerial Yoga Anukalana Inspired is a soft practice with fluid movements like those of dance. Fun is an integral part of the practice and stimulates the practitioner to find their own internal and external balance.
This practice comes from yoga and therefore has a high component of mostly dynamic stretching. The aerial yoga proposed here is done on hammocks hanging from trees in the middle of the woods, not far from the town, in a secluded and silent place. Anukalana is a fluid technique that combines the movements of Thai Chi (an ancient martial art) with yoga.

From July 5th to August 30th, every Friday.
(In case of bad weather the day of the week may vary).

Meeting point: in front of the “Bait de Ca” in Canazei at 2.30 pm
Duration: 1 hour
Convenient parking near the Dolaondes Aquatic Center via Streda de Piz, in Canazei. Then cross the bridge with the signs Bar Bait de Ca’. From the entrance of the bar look ahead towards the woods.

What to bring: If you have a yoga mat, bring it with you (otherwise inform the teacher). Dress comfortably with stretch trousers that reach at least below the knee.

Intermediate level

The benefits of Aerial Yoga:
-allows you to practice inversion positions without compression of the spine or neck; this makes it much easier to stand upside down even for those who are overweight or who suffer from tension in the neck and shoulders;
-allows you to develop strength in the upper body, as you use your shoulders and arms a lot;
-allows you to stretch the lumbar area more deeply;
-helps maintain some “asanas” (yoga positions) for longer;
-improves balance.
-allows you to achieve perfect alignment of the spine while performing the positions;
-thanks to the possibility of practicing numerous inversions, it puts you in a position to supply a greater quantity of oxygen to the brain, regenerating the central nervous system, the scalp and improving the functioning of the endocrine glands of the head;
-it is a very effective weapon against stress.
