Description
Starting from Canazei, we will take the cable cars to the scenic Col dei Rossi, facing the Marmolada Glacier. From here, we will enjoy a pleasant 30-minute walk to Passo Pordoi, where we will board the cable car to the famous Sass Pordoi and the Terrace of the Dolomites, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the entire Dolomite range, to admire the breathtaking morning panorama.
After descending by cable car back to Passo Pordoi, we will begin a scenic hike towards Lake Pian da Mur, set in an extraordinary alpine landscape offering 360° views of the Sella Group, Sassolungo, Pordoi and Crepa Neigra.
We will then descend to Pian de Schiavaneis, where, after a lunch break (packed lunch or at a mountain hut), we will continue our hike to discover the picturesque Sella Waterfalls, with the chance to spot curious marmots among the alpine meadows and rocky slopes.
At the end of the hike, we will return to Pian de Schiavaneis or Lupo Bianco, from where we will comfortably travel back to Canazei by public bus, bringing to a close a day filled with unforgettable scenery, nature, and the discovery of the Dolomites.
