Description

Beeper shovel and probe, what they are and, how to use them!

Avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe are essential tools for free-riding, ski mountaineering, or snowshoeing. This specific course will teach you how to properly use these three life-saving tools. Learning about avalanche self-rescue techniques is extremely important for your own safety during free-riding or ski mountaineering activities!

Full-day course: morning theory lesson in the classroom + afternoon practical field exercises with avalanche transceivers (ARTVA).
Schedule: approximately 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.

Group price: €75 per person (minimum 5 participants)
Private course (1–4 people): €350 total, to be divided among participants.

10% discount for winter Outdoor guests.

The price is with a minimum 5 people. Prices include the rental of avalanche safety kit, shovel, probe, and teaching material. This activity can be booked every day on request.
