A full immersion into ski touring, safety and winter mountain skills

Experience the thrill of reaching a summit using only your own strength, leaving the first tracks on untouched snow, surrounded by pristine winter landscapes and breathtaking Dolomite views.

Ski mountaineering is not only about skiing off-piste — it’s about understanding the mountain, moving efficiently uphill and learning how to explore winter environment.

Anyone can learn ski mountaineering: we only require solid skiing skills on piste and a willingness to get involved.

-intermediate skiers who can confidently ski red slopes

-people new to ski mountaineering

-skiers who want to improve technique, knowledge and safety awareness

Programme

Friday – Theory & Safety

Late afternoon meeting (approx. 2 hours):

-equipment check

-introduction to ski mountaineering gear

-basic avalanche awareness and nivology

-self-rescue theory (ARTVA, shovel and probe)

-briefing for the weekend

Saturday – On the Snow

-ski mountaineering excursion (itinerary adapted to the group’s level)

-uphill technique and downhill tips

-equipment management

-afternoon ARTVA search training on the snow

-planning a ski mountaineering trip together

Sunday – Ski Mountaineering Excursion

-ski mountaineering tour

-practical application of skills learned

-decision making and group management in real conditions

Prices

Group course (min. 3 – max. 5 people): €280 per person

Private course (2 people): €380 per person

Price includes:

✔ UIAGM certified Mountain Guide
✔ Safety equipment (ARTVA, shovel and probe)

Not included:

✖ Personal ski mountaineering equipment
(skis, boots, skins, poles)

-Ability to ski confidently on red slopes

-Personal  or rented ski mountaineering equipment

-Good physical condition
